  Market Overview   

Over 30 regional farms and farm kitchens come and set up at the South Street Parking Lot in the Village of Warwick from May through November to provide the community with the freshest food products available. Opened in June 1994.

​​

Farm fresh produce, meats, free-range eggs, cheeses, artisanal breads, maple sugar, honey, jams and jellies, spices and rubs, artisinal olive oil and vinegar, fresh cut flowers, garden plants, prepared foods, baked goods, wines and hard cider, and homemade herbal soaps.    Important Information    

Due to Federal Regulations under the  Good Agricultural Practices and Food Modernization Acts, dogs or pets of any kind are not allowed in the market.  The single exception is service animals wearing a service license or permit.  

​

Please do not leave your pets in your car while shopping in the Market.  There are benches at the sidewalk where you can sit with your pet while your friends and family shop.  We are happy to provide water bowls.

     Mission   

The Warwick Valley Farmers' Market offers  local consumers in the community a local source of high quality, locally and regionally grown produce and freshly made food products.  We attempt to advance and promote the appreciation of local farmers, culinary artists, and chefs who specialize in local, freshly produced wholesome food.

The Market provides a place for local area family farms, chefs, and craft food artisan producers to sell their crops, baked goods and other products direct to consumers, helping to maximize critical revenue for local and regional farmers and farm families, artisan producers and local businesses supporting agriculture. 

​

The Market helps grow our local economy, provide a center for local agricultural and culinary information, increases the community's knowledge of facts, issues and trends in agriculture, food preparation and culinary techniques, and builds relationships that help sustain our communities.

The Warwick Valley Farmers' Market is a producer market according to the USDA Farm Market Nutrition Program guidelines as interpreted by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.  We accept SNAP/EBT, FMNP coupons, WIC coupons and New York State Fresh Connect Checks.  Feel free to ask the Market Manager for details.
